Louise Goulet - Director

I was born and raised in Regina, Sask. The province of golden wheat fields, magnificent sunsets, and icy, cold winters.

I was diagnosed with Lupus in January of 2000 and Systemic Scleroderma in September of that same year. My doctor suggested I contact the Arthritis Society for information on where I might find a support group. I attended my first meeting a few months later. It was wonderful to meet others with whom I could share experiences, knowledge and friendship.

 I am presently involved in a research registry with the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group and serving my second term as President of the Scleroderma Association of Saskatchewan.

 I am married, a mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. I have been employed with Extendicare (Canada) Inc. for the past 28 years.
